Home Control Assistant is provided with three manuals, each in both DOC and PDF format. We have found that the DOC files result in the best results for printing with the screen image captures. All documentation is available for you to download now. If you purchased a physical disk then the manuals are included on the CD.
The Hardware Connection Guide describes how to connect the automation interfaces supported by HCA to your computer.
If you have upgraded to HCA 10, you may want to only download the changed chapters. Links to them are given below.
The HCA User Guide is your major resource on how to use HCA and contains chapters on each major feature of HCA. As HCA is so feature packed, this is a large manual containing these chapters:
In addition to the User Guide, a number of appendixes are available. Each appendix covers a major HCA hardware topic in depth. These are collected into a single document and include:
| Document | PDF Format | DOC Format |
|---|---|---|
| User Guide | UserGuide.pdf (10.5 mb) | UserGuide.doc (12.0 mb) |
| Appendixes | Appendixes.pdf (3.4 mb) | Appendixes.doc (4.6 mb) |
| Hardware Connection Guide | HCG.pdf (250 kb) | HCG.doc (64 kb) |
Here are some additional documents on the major V10 changes:
